BUYER GUIDE · TÜRKİYE SOURCING

How TEDA Union sources Turkish manufacturers for U.S. buyers.

A buyer-side process built to turn a procurement brief into a qualified shortlist—not a spreadsheet of random supplier names.

PROCESS

Brief → discover → qualify → verify → shortlist → introduce.

01

Buyer brief

We define product, technical requirements, target price logic, volumes, certifications, geography and commercial constraints before searching.

02

Manufacturer discovery

We identify candidate manufacturers in Türkiye using category, capability and buyer-fit criteria rather than delivering an unfiltered directory.

03

Qualification

Candidates are screened against the buyer brief, manufacturing relevance, available company evidence and the requirements of the engagement.

04

Verification

Where verification is in scope, we check the supplier information and evidence required for the engagement before deeper commercial commitment.

05

Shortlist

The buyer receives a narrower set of candidates with the information needed to decide which companies merit direct discussion, samples or further diligence.

06

Introduction

TEDA Union can move selected candidates into buyer-supplier discussion and support the commercial handoff. Final supplier approval and purchasing decisions remain with the buyer.

BUYER QUESTIONS

What U.S. procurement teams usually need to know.

Does TEDA Union manufacture products?

No. TEDA Union is a cross-border market development and buyer-side sourcing organization. We identify and qualify independent manufacturers against a buyer brief.

Do you guarantee every supplier?

No. Supplier discovery, qualification and verification reduce information gaps but do not replace the buyer's legal, technical, financial or compliance due diligence.

Can a U.S. buyer request a specific product category?

Yes. The sourcing process begins with the buyer's product and commercial requirements, then searches for relevant Turkish manufacturing candidates.

Can you verify a supplier we already found?

Yes, supplier verification can be a standalone route when the buyer already has a Turkish company under consideration.
